Requirements
- Minimum 15 years of practical experience as (marine) electromechanical technician.
- Diploma in Electro-Mechanical Engineering.
- IT skills: basic use of MS Excel, MS Word.
- English-speaking.
- Ability to perform physical tasks.
- Past work experience in Africa is a bonus.
- Good planner, respecting deadlines, and good communicator.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring the use of electromechanical spares and consumables.
- Experience with marine equipment, refrigeration systems, generators.
- Training of junior technicians.
- Assisting the crew for troubleshooting, providing guidance.
- To keep operational records and do basic analysis.
- Be up to date on the vessel situation, maintenance schedules both short term and long term.
