Heat Shrink Sleeve Coating Technician – UAE Oil & Gas Contractor
Seagull International LLP is urgently hiring experienced Heat Shrink Sleeve Coating Technicians for a prestigious Oil & Gas contractor in the UAE. This is a long-term project opportunity with an attractive salary package and excellent benefits including free food, accommodation, and transportation.
Job Role
As an HSS Coating Technician, you will be responsible for pipeline coating and field joint coating operations using heat shrink sleeve systems. You will ensure compliance with international standards, client specifications, and project quality and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform surface preparation, pre-heating, and heat shrink sleeve installation on pipeline joints.
- Work with HSS coating systems such as Raychem, Canusa, Covalence, or equivalent.
- Inspect completed joints and carry out final quality checks as per project requirements.
- Follow coating quality control procedures and safety standards at all times.
- Coordinate with supervisors and QC inspectors to meet project schedules.
Experience & Requirements
- Minimum 2-5 years’ experience in pipeline coating or field joint coating operations.
- Experience in Oil & Gas, Pipeline, or EPC projects.
- Hands-on experience with Heat Shrink Sleeve (HSS) coating systems such as Raychem, Canusa, Covalence, or equivalent.
- Familiarity with international standards & client specifications for pipeline coating applications.
- Ability to perform surface preparation, pre-heating, sleeve installation, and final inspection as per project requirements.
- Knowledge of coating quality control procedures and safety standards.
