HamdanGlobal is hiring experienced Instrument Technician (WWTP/STP/RO) and Electrical Technician (Substation) for a Water Treatment Project in Qatar. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with plant maintenance experience. Salary is negotiable. Online interviews are being conducted.

Available Positions

1. Instrument Technician (WWTP/STP/RO)

Requirements:

• Diploma in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 7 to 10 years of experience in WWTP/STP/RO plant maintenance.
• Experience supervising maintenance teams and activities.
• Knowledge of PLC/SCADA systems and maintenance planning.

Responsibilities:

• Perform all instrumental automation work of preventive and corrective maintenance in plant.
• Troubleshooting and fault diagnostics in automation applications.
• Troubleshooting of PLC/SCADA system, faults diagnosis, VFD, Soft starter, system and faults diagnosis.
• Maintenance and troubleshooting of all types of motorized control valve, pneumatic valves, electric valves, etc.

2. Electrical Technician (Exp in Substation)

Requirements:

• Diploma / ITI in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 4 to 7 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of MCC, Substations, Distribution Panels, ATS, UPS, and Switchgear.
• Experience in motor maintenance and electrical fault troubleshooting.
• Familiar with preventive maintenance and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, including power distribution, wiring, motors, and control panels.
• Assist in the installation of new electrical equipment and ensure proper functioning.
• Competent to handle 415 volt distribution, 11KV substation, ATS and incomer breakers, earthing, motors, UPS, cabling, bus bar, switchgear, and lighting, etc.
