Job Overview
A leading offshore company is hiring an experienced Planning Engineer for offshore brownfield and EPC projects in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have strong Primavera P6 skills, offshore Oil & Gas planning experience, and the ability to manage project schedules from Level 1 to Level 4. This is an employment contract role with an online interview process.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Level 1–4 project schedules using Primavera P6.
- Prepare baseline, recovery, and catch-up schedules.
- Monitor project progress, critical paths, and schedule deviations.
- Plan manpower, equipment, and offshore resources.
- Prepare progress reports, S-Curves, manpower histograms, and look-ahead schedules.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and project management teams.
Technical Skills
- Primavera P6 – Mandatory
- Microsoft Project – Preferred
- Advanced Excel and project reporting
- Schedule risk analysis and forecasting
- Earned Value Management (EVM)
Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent.
- 5–10 years of experience in project planning, scheduling, and project controls.
- Minimum 3 years of offshore Oil & Gas project experience.
- Experience in EPC, brownfield modifications, shutdowns, hook-up, commissioning, and offshore construction.
- Saudi Aramco project experience highly preferred.
