Job Opportunity: Fibre Optics Technicians – Oil & Gas Project (UAE)
SINCLUS Marketing Services Pvt. Ltd. is currently seeking qualified and experienced Fibre Optics Technicians for a major Oil & Gas project in the UAE. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with a strong background in fibre optics installation, testing, and maintenance within the oil and gas sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, splice, terminate, and test fibre optic cables in accordance with project specifications.
- Perform OTDR testing and troubleshooting of fibre optic networks.
- Read and interpret fibre optic layout drawings and termination schedules.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and project quality requirements.
- Coordinate with project engineers and supervisors to meet deadlines.
- Maintain documentation of installation and test results.
Qualifications & Experience:
- ITI / Diploma in Engineering (relevant discipline).
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in fibre optics within Oil & Gas projects.
- Certification in fibre optics (e.g., FOA, CFOT) preferred.
- Familiarity with industry standards (TIA/EIA, ISO, etc.).
- Willingness to work in UAE project sites on a rotational or full-time basis.
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
