Job Opportunity: Service Technicians for Fiji (Sugar City)
We are hiring experienced technicians for long-term positions in Fiji, known as the Sugar City. The company will provide work permits (E-visa) – no visa stamping required, easy departure. Client Zoom interviews will be held on 13th & 14th August 2025 at Ambe International Office, Mumbai.
Position 1: Diesel Generator Service Technician
Job Description:
- Conduct routine testing, servicing, and preventative maintenance of diesel generators.
- Perform scheduled maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on various makes and models of diesel generators.
- Identify and troubleshoot mechanical/electrical issues in diesel generator systems.
- Collaborate with the service team to devise effective repair strategies and ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Prepare service reports, list of parts used, labour hours, etc.
- Undertake other duties as delegated by Manager.
Requirements:
- ITI or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
- Previous experience working on diesel generators.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Valid Driver’s License.
Position 2: Air Compressor Service Technician
Job Description:
- In-house/onsite servicing of rotary screw, piston type, and large road compressors.
- Attend compressor breakdowns, fault tracing, and carry out remedial action.
- Carrying out complete compressor overhauls.
- Make service/fault reports on compressors attended in-house/onsite.
- Work independently and unsupervised after proper training.
- Communicate directly with customers for service & repairs.
- Supervise compressed air system installation & commissioning.
Requirements:
- ITI or Diploma in Mechanical/Refrigeration/Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 8 years hands-on experience in servicing and repairs of air compressors.
- Experience in pneumatic systems.
- Fault-finding on air compressors.
- Professional work attitude & integrity.
- Driver’s licence.
- Good communication and basic IT skills.
