Long-Term Offshore Technician Jobs in Doha, Qatar
A reputed oil and gas company in Doha, Qatar, is seeking experienced professionals for long-term offshore positions. Shortlisting is currently in progress for final client interviews.
Available Positions:
- Instrument Technician (Offshore Experience)
- Education: Diploma in relevant field
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience, with at least 3 years on field instruments in diversified oil & gas processing or petrochemical plants.
- Computer Skills: Computer literate; knowledge of Microsoft business software is advantageous.
- Mechanical Technician (Offshore Experience)
- Education: Diploma/ITI in Mechanical field
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience on Static equipment, with at least 3 years in a Maintenance role in diversified Oil & Gas Industry, petrochemical process plant, or major Power Utility. Must have worked offshore for a minimum of 2 years.
General Requirements:
- Gulf Experience: Candidates must have 2 years of Gulf platform experience.
- Certifications: Valid T-BOSIET and H2S certificates are mandatory.
- Communication: Good English communication skills, as interviews will be conducted in English.
Work Schedule:
- Rotation Cycle: 28 days offshore duty followed by 28 days off. During off days, candidates will be sent to their home country.
- Daily Hours: 12 hours per day, 7 days a week. Overtime applicable if client approves more than 12 hours per day.
