HVAC Technician (Marine Industry) – Job Opportunity
Aries Overseas Services is actively seeking experienced and technically skilled HVAC Technicians for exciting Pan India Projects within the marine sector. About the Role
This position is crucial for our marine project operations across India. The successful candidate will be responsible for the independent management of field-related technical activities, ensuring the efficient installation, maintenance, and repair of critical marine HVAC systems. This role is based out of Kochi but involves work on Pan India projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, erect, and commission HVAC and refrigeration systems on marine vessels and at project sites.
- Carry out scheduled servicing, preventive maintenance, and complete system overhauling.
- Perform specialized tasks including brazing, welding, and precision pipe-fitting for HVAC units.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex faults in marine HVAC and refrigeration systems.
- Read, interpret, and work from technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and OEM service manuals.
- Strictly adhere to all safety standards and protocols while ensuring proper equipment maintenance.
- Work autonomously and provide essential technical support for ongoing field and project operations.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 5 Years of hands-on experience, with a strong preference for candidates from the Marine Industry.
- Education: ITI Certification or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, or a related technical discipline.
- Technical Skills: Proven, demonstrable hands-on experience with Marine HVAC systems. Must have strong expertise in system overhauling, brazing, and troubleshooting.
- Soft Skills: Good communication abilities, strong problem-solving skills, and a collaborative team-player attitude.
- Other: Must be willing to travel and work in various field-based or project site environments across India.
