Key Requirements:
- Engineering Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Civil, or related field
- 4-5 years of relevant experience in fireproofing QC
- 3+ years Gulf experience required
- Good knowledge of fireproofing materials, application methods, and inspection procedures
- Familiarity with QA/QC standards, codes, and client specifications related to fireproofing
- Experience in surface preparation inspection, coating thickness measurement, and material testing
- Ability to prepare inspection reports, checklists, and NCRs
- Good communication skills to coordinate with site, client, and third-party inspectors
Responsibilities:
- Conduct quality inspections during surface preparation and fireproofing application
- Verify materials, application thickness (DFT/WFT), and curing as per specifications
- Prepare and maintain QC documentation, ITPs, checklists, and inspection reports
- Coordinate with site team and client/consultant for inspections and approvals
- Identify and report non-conformances; follow up on corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with project QA/QC procedures and relevant codes/standards
