ITL Group of Companies (International Trade Links), a reputed HR consultancy, is hiring an experienced Planning Engineer for a leading EPC project in Qatar. This is an immediate mobilization, long-term contract role with a salary of QAR 7,000 to 8,000 plus FAT (Free Accommodation & Transportation) by the company.
This is an excellent opportunity for engineers with strong planning and scheduling experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, and large-scale EPC projects. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing project schedules, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely execution using Primavera P6.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and monitor EPC project schedules using Primavera P6.
- Prepare and manage WBS, project milestones, critical path schedules, and resource planning.
- Coordinate engineering, procurement, and construction activities to ensure timely project execution.
- Monitor project progress, identify delays and schedule risks, and recommend recovery actions.
- Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards, look-ahead schedules, and management/client presentations.
- Perform Critical Path Method (CPM) analysis, schedule impact assessments, and recovery planning.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure smooth project execution and compliance with approved schedules.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering.
- Minimum 8 years of planning/scheduling experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or EPC projects.
- Strong hands-on experience with Primavera P6.
- Good knowledge of CPM, WBS, resource loading, progress measurement, and Earned Value Management (EVM).
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication, coordination, analytical, and reporting skills.
