We are recruiting for a long-term offshore position as an Offshore Electrical Technician for a leading oil and gas company based in Doha, Qatar. This role involves working in offshore environments and requires adherence to strict safety and competency standards. Key Responsibilities
- Complete QatarEnergy authorizations assessment process for Electrical personnel competency (QP-ISND-PRC-PRD-232).
- Actively participate in company safety procedures, including Near Miss, What If, and Stop Card initiatives.
- Strive to improve competency levels, progressing from CEP to AEP and SAEP over time.
- Work collaboratively as a team player and demonstrate self-starting initiative to achieve superior performance.
- Perform electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on offshore equipment and systems.
Requirements
- Valid Gulf T-Bosiet and H2S certificates are mandatory.
- Proven experience as an Electrical Technician in offshore oil and gas operations.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and competency assessment processes.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in remote offshore locations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
