- Experience: Minimum 5–8 years as a Machinist in a shipyard, marine, or heavy industrial environment.
- Qualification: ITI / Diploma in Machining, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical trade.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate conventional machine tools such as lathes, milling, drilling, and grinding machines to machine and repair mechanical components.
- Read engineering drawings and use precision measuring instruments.
- Ensure machining work meets specified tolerances and quality standards.
- Perform preventive machine maintenance.
- Follow shipyard safety procedures and HSE compliance.
- Communicate effectively in basic English.
