We are hiring a Lead Automation (SCADA) for a leading dairy and food manufacturing company in Saudi Arabia. Position: Lead Automation (SCADA)
Key Responsibilities
- SCADA System Design: Design and modify SCADA systems tailored to specific plant requirements.
- PLC Integration: Integrate SCADA systems with PLCs to ensure seamless communication and control of industrial processes.
- Data Collection: Develop data acquisition strategies to collect, store, and analyze data from different sources within the industrial process.
- System Configuration: Configure SCADA software, alarms, and event handling to ensure optimal system performance and reliability.
- Troubleshooting and Support: Identify and resolve SCADA system issues and provide technical training to the team.
- Communication Protocols: Implement and configure communication protocols including Modbus TCP, SNMP, Profinet, and others to facilitate data exchange and interoperability between different devices and systems.
- Security and Compliance: Implement security measures to protect SCADA systems from cybersecurity threats and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of SCADA system design, configurations, and project-related information.
- Testing and Validation: Conduct thorough testing and validation of all industrial control systems to guarantee functionality and performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics / Mechatronics / Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience of at least 7 years in designing, implementing, and maintaining SCADA systems.
- Proficiency in SCADA systems (Aveva System Platform / Intouch, Ignition, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of industrial automation technologies, PLCs, and HMI development.
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles related to SCADA systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
