ALBAIK, the legendary quick-service restaurant chain, is expanding its digital footprint and seeking an IT Application Manager to lead its restaurant technology systems. This is a unique opportunity to work with a brand synonymous with quality and growth across Saudi Arabia and beyond.
About the Role
As the IT Application Manager, you will oversee the entire suite of restaurant IT applications – from POS (Posist) and HRMS to ERP (Microsoft Dynamics 365) and AI platforms. You will ensure seamless integration, performance, security, and scalability across all branches. Your expertise will directly support business growth, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Application Management: Manage and optimize POS (Posist), HRMS, ERP (Microsoft Dynamics 365), and AI platforms. Ensure system updates, patch management, configuration, and high availability across all outlets.
- Integration & Interoperability: Deliver seamless integration with ERP, CRM, payment gateways, and delivery platforms. Maintain robust data pipelines and enable accurate reporting using Power BI / Power Platform.
- System Administration & Security: Administer user access, roles, and permissions. Enforce cybersecurity standards (PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, PDPL) and maintain strong data governance practices.
- AI & Analytics Enablement: Implement AI-driven forecasting, labor optimization, and customer analytics. Provide actionable insights to boost sales, reduce waste, and optimize costs.
- Infrastructure & Cloud Management: Oversee cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), backups, disaster recovery, and system uptime. Manage servers, networks, and overall IT infrastructure.
- IT Projects & New Store Openings: Lead IT setup, system rollout, and change management for new stores. Manage end-to-end IT projects.
- Vendor Management & SLA Compliance: Manage vendors, contracts, SLAs, and performance. Drive cost optimization and service excellence.
- Technical Support & IT Governance: Ensure reliable L1/L2 support across all branches. Implement IT policies, documentation, and performance reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Proven experience with POS (e.g., Posist), ERP (Microsoft Dynamics 365), HRMS, AI platforms, and cloud (Azure/AWS).
- Strong knowledge of system integrations, payment gateways, databases, and APIs.
- Excellent understanding of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and data governance.
- Experience in QSR, restaurant, retail, or hospitality industry preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
