Urgent Job Opening: Instrument Turnaround Planner for Saudi Arabia
We are urgently seeking a highly skilled Instrument Turnaround Planner for an immediate opportunity in Saudi Arabia’s dynamic petrochemical and oil & gas sector. This critical position offers an attractive salary package of 5,500-6,000 Saudi Riyals (SAR) plus a 35% allowance.
Job Summary
The Instrument Turnaround Planner will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful planning, scheduling, and execution of turnaround (TA) activities within a major industrial facility. You will be responsible for coordinating all instrument-related aspects of plant shutdowns and maintenance events to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- TA Job Planning & Scheduling: Develop comprehensive work plans, schedules, and resource allocations for instrument-related turnaround activities.
- Material Tracking in SAP: Utilize SAP systems to manage, track, and ensure availability of all necessary instruments, parts, and materials required for turnaround execution.
- Contractor Management: Coordinate with external contractors, overseeing their scope of work, schedules, and compliance with project specifications.
- Ensure EHSS Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security (EHSS) protocols throughout all planning and execution phases.
- Develop detailed work packs and job instructions for field execution teams.
- Participate in pre- and post-turnaround reviews and lessons-learned sessions.
- Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and engineering departments to align turnaround plans with business objectives.
Job Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Diploma or Degree in Instrumentation Engineering or Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in planning and scheduling roles specifically within Petrochemical or Oil & Gas plant turnarounds.
- Technical Skills: Must be highly proficient in SAP (for material management) and Primavera P6 (for project scheduling).
- Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of instrumentation systems, maintenance practices, and turnaround management processes in an industrial setting.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety excellence.
