Job Overview
Al Samit International, an ISO 9001:2000 certified recruitment agency, is urgently seeking experienced professionals for two critical supervisory positions on behalf of a leading company undertaking mega projects in Dubai, UAE. These are immediate openings for candidates with 8-10 years of hands-on experience in fire safety systems.
Available Positions
1. Fire Alarm Supervisor
- Experience: Installation, testing, and commissioning of fire alarm systems
- Standards: Must be aware of NFPA standards
- Regulations: Knowledge of Dubai Civil Defence (DCD) regulations
- Qualification: Diploma or ITI in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- Experience Required: 8-10 years
2. Fire Fighting Supervisor
- Experience: Installation, testing, and commissioning of firefighting systems including sprinklers, hydrants, hose reels, and fire pumps
- Supervision: Oversee installation teams and ensure quality compliance
- Qualification: Diploma or ITI in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- Experience Required: 8-10 years
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise field teams during installation, testing, and commissioning phases
- Ensure all work complies with project specifications, NFPA standards, and local DCD regulations
- Coordinate with project managers and consultants for successful handover
- Prepare and maintain inspection reports, test certificates, and as-built documentation
- Conduct toolbox talks and site safety briefings
Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma or ITI in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience in fire alarm or firefighting systems
- In-depth knowledge of NFPA 72 (Fire Alarm) and NFPA 13/20/24 (Fire Fighting) is preferred
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics
- Experience working in UAE or Gulf countries is an advantage
