Role Overview
As Director Commercial, you will lead the commercial function across multiple projects, oversee tendering and cost control, manage contracts, and provide strategic commercial direction to ensure profitability, compliance, and successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement commercial strategy for real estate development projects.
- Lead tendering, procurement, cost planning, and cost control across multiple projects.
- Manage contracts, claims, variations, and commercial risk.
- Monitor project budgets, cash flow, and financial performance.
- Provide commercial and contractual guidance to project teams and senior management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, local regulations, and industry best practices.
- Build and manage relationships with contractors, consultants, and suppliers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Commercial/Construction Management.
- 10+ years of experience in real estate/construction commercial management.
- 3+ years managing tendering and cost control across multiple projects.
- Master’s degree or MRICS preferred.
- Strong commercial, contractual, and cost management expertise.
