Job Opportunity: Civil Engineers for Oil & Gas Construction Project – Nigeria
SINCLUS Marketing Services Pvt. Ltd., in partnership with a leading engineering consultancy (EIL | HK), is seeking experienced Civil Engineers for a large-scale Oil & Gas Construction Project in Nigeria. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with a strong background in refinery, petrochemical, or oil & gas plant projects.
Position Details
- Job Title: Civil Engineer
- Project Type: Oil & Gas Refinery / Petrochemical Plant Construction
- Location: Nigeria (Overseas assignment)
- Experience Required: 5+ / 9+ / 13+ years (mid to senior level)
- Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering
- Mandatory: Previous overseas experience (Middle East, Africa, etc.)
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage civil construction activities for oil & gas plant facilities.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and safety standards.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including structural, piping, and mechanical.
- Review engineering drawings, method statements, and construction schedules.
- Conduct site inspections, quality control checks, and progress reporting.
- Resolve technical issues on-site and provide engineering support.
Requirements
- B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
- 5+ / 9+ / 13+ years of experience in oil & gas refinery or petrochemical plant projects.
- Proven overseas work experience is mandatory.
- Excellent knowledge of civil construction methods, reinforced concrete, steel structures, and earthworks.
- Familiarity with international standards (ASME, API, ACI, etc.).
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Willingness to work on a rotational or long-term basis in Nigeria.
