Job Description

Gheewala Global HR Consultants, a Bureau Veritas ISO 9001:2015 certified recruitment firm, is urgently seeking a highly qualified Chief Operations Officer (COO) for a leading Oil & Gas company in Nigeria. This is a senior leadership role that requires a strategic thinker with deep expertise in operational excellence, digital transformation, and energy management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead overall operations strategy and execution for the Nigerian oil & gas entity.
- Drive IoT and telematics integration to optimize asset performance and supply chain.
- Implement energy management systems to reduce costs and improve sustainability.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards and other regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to achieve business transformation goals.
- Oversee KPI, SOP, CRM, ERP, and NPS frameworks for operational excellence.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience: 10-15+ years in IoT, Telematics, Energy Management, or Industrial Automation.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Marine Engineering, or Energy Management. An MBA is highly preferred.
- Certification: ISO 9001:2015 knowledge (Bureau Veritas certification is a plus).
- Skills: Proven track record in strategy execution, digital enablement, and systems alignment.
