Job Overview
Seagull International LLP is conducting a client interview for experienced Instrument Technicians for an Abu Dhabi Oil & Gas short-term project. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with strong construction experience in instrumentation, calibration, loop checking, and oil and gas field instrument systems. Selected candidates will receive an attractive salary with free food and accommodation and must be ready to travel on a Mission Visa.
Eligibility and Qualification
- Diploma or ITI in Instrumentation / Electronics.
- Minimum 8 years of Oil & Gas construction experience.
- Strong experience in calibration and loop checking.
- Experience with control panels and DCS/ESD/F&G systems, PLC, MMS, WHCP, etc.
- Familiarity with the latest HART Communicator and other calibration tools for all process parameters.
- Knowledge of vibration systems and field instruments such as PT/TT/DPT, various types of flowmeters, control valves, shutdown valves, PSV, and PRV.
- Candidates should be ready to travel on a Mission Visa after selection.
Key Responsibilities and Skills
- Perform calibration and loop checking of field instruments and control systems.
- Work on control panels, DCS/ESD/F&G systems, PLC, MMS, WHCP, and related instrumentation equipment.
- Use HART Communicator and other calibration tools for process parameters.
- Handle vibration systems and field instruments including PT/TT/DPT and various flowmeters.
- Inspect, test, and maintain control valves, shutdown valves, PSV, and PRV.
- Follow project safety standards and oil and gas construction procedures.
