Key Responsibilities
- Perform fiber optic cable pulling, routing, splicing, and termination.
- Conduct OTDR testing, trace analysis, and fault troubleshooting.
- Install and terminate Cat6/Cat6a UTP structured cabling, including RJ45, patch panel, and keystone termination.
- Use Fluke testers to validate cabling performance and resolve attenuation/crosstalk issues.
- Read and interpret cabling plans, schematics, and telecom safety standards.
- Ensure all field work meets quality, safety, and project specifications.
Candidate Requirements
- Hands-on experience in fiber optic cable pulling, routing, splicing, and termination.
- Proficient in OTDR testing, trace analysis, and fault troubleshooting.
- Experienced in Cat6/Cat6a UTP structured cabling, including RJ45, patch panel, and keystone termination.
- Skilled in Fluke testing and resolving attenuation/crosstalk issues.
- Familiar with telecom safety standards and able to read cabling plans/schematics.
- Verifiable field experience in fiber and structured cabling works.
