Job Overview
M. Gheewala Global HR Consultants is urgently recruiting for a leading construction company in the UAE. The client has vacancies in large numbers for the following roles: Assistant Block Mason, Assistant Plaster Mason and Assistant Steel Fixer. CV selection and shortlisting are already in progress.
Available Positions
- Assistant Block Mason – Candidate must have 2 to 3 years of experience assisting block masons in blockwork, mortar mixing, material movement, levelling and site cleaning.
- Assistant Plaster Mason – Candidate must have 2 to 3 years of experience assisting plaster masons in surface preparation, mortar/plaster mixing, rendering, finishing and curing.
- Assistant Steel Fixer – Candidate must have 2 to 3 years of experience assisting steel fixers in cutting, bending, tying and placing reinforcement steel on construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
Assistant Block Mason
- Assist the block mason in laying blocks and bricks according to drawings and instructions.
- Mix mortar, carry blocks, set up scaffolding and keep the working area clean and safe.
- Support alignment, level checking and removal of waste material after work is completed.
Assistant Plaster Mason
- Help prepare internal and external walls for plastering.
- Mix plaster materials and ensure continuous supply to the plaster mason.
- Support plaster application, finishing, curing and cleaning of tools and equipment.
Assistant Steel Fixer
- Assist steel fixers in unloading, cutting and bending reinforcement bars.
- Carry and place rebars, tie steel, set covers and spacers as instructed.
- Follow the steel fixing supervisor’s instructions and strictly follow site safety rules.
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidate must have 2 to 3 years of experience in the relevant field.
- Should be physically fit and available to join a UAE construction project.
- UAE/Gulf construction experience is an added advantage.
- Candidates should have an updated CV, valid passport and relevant credentials.
