Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of pipe fitters, riggers, and helpers on a piping fabrication and installation project.
- Read and interpret isometric drawings, P&IDs, and piping specifications.
- Coordinate fabrication and erection activities to meet project schedule and quality standards.
- Ensure all piping work is carried out as per approved drawings, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Allocate daily tasks to team members and monitor work progress.
- Conduct toolbox talks and ensure compliance with HSE requirements.
- Inspect completed pipe spools and installed piping systems for accuracy and quality.
- Report to the Site Supervisor / Construction Manager on progress, manpower, and material availability.
Qualification & Experience
- Proven experience as Piping Foreman, Chargehand, or Team Leader in oil & gas, refinery, or petrochemical projects.
- Gulf experience is mandatory.
- Strong pipe fabrication background is essential.
- Isometric drawing knowledge is must.
- Ability to manage a multicultural team and work under tight deadlines.
- Good communication and leadership skills.
