We are looking for experienced Fiber Optic Technicians to join our team for an Oil & Gas project in the UAE. Candidates must hold an ITI or Diploma in Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas projects. The selected technicians will be responsible for installation, testing, splicing, and maintenance of fiber optic cables in a demanding project environment.
Key Responsibilities:
– Installation and termination of fiber optic cables
– OTDR testing, power meter, and light source testing
– Splicing (fusion and mechanical)
– Troubleshooting and repair of fiber optic networks
– Adherence to project safety and quality standards
– Coordination with project engineers and supervisors
Qualifications:
– ITI / Diploma in Engineering (Electronics/Telecom preferred)
– Minimum 5 years of experience in Oil & Gas projects
– Knowledge of fiber optic standards and procedures
– Ability to work in remote locations
– Good communication skills
