Position Overview
We are seeking skilled professionals for a steel fabrication project in a Libya Workshop. This is a long-term contract offering free food & accommodation, 8 hours duty + overtime, and competitive salaries. Online interviews are being conducted. Candidates must be able to communicate in English or Arabic and have prior Gulf experience.
Available Positions
1. CNC Plasma Cutting Machine Operators
- Salary: USD 1,500 – 2,000
- Qualification: HSC, ITI with 5-7 years’ experience in steel fabrication or manufacturing.
- Responsibilities: Operate CNC plasma, oxy-fuel, or laser cutting machines to cut steel plates, beams, and structural materials per engineering drawings. Read and interpret drawings and nesting plans. Load raw materials, monitor cutting quality, verify dimensions using measuring tools, perform routine machine cleaning and basic maintenance, record production data.
2. SAW Welders
- Salary: USD 900 – 1,400
- Experience: 3-5 years in Submerged Arc Welding (SAW) of structural steel components per approved procedures and quality standards.
3. H-Beam Assembly Line Machine Operators
- Salary: USD 900 – 1,400
- Experience: 2-5 years in assembly of H-beams and structural steel members per fabrication drawings. Ensure alignment and dimensional accuracy before welding. Operate assembly line equipment, fixtures, and hydraulic systems. Perform tack welding or assist welders. Must have technical diploma or equivalent, knowledge of structural steel fabrication, ability to read fabrication drawings, familiarity with measuring tools.
