A leading switchgear company in Kuwait is urgently looking for experienced electrical engineers for multiple positions. Shortlisting is in progress with large numbers of vacancies. Online interviews will be conducted shortly.
Protection Maintenance Engineer
- Must have experience in maintenance of protective equipment involved in EHV, HV and LV substations.
- Should have theoretical and practical knowledge of all types of protection relays including distance protection relays in substations including testing.
- Should be able to test and maintain battery charger and electronic circuits.
Site Maintenance Engineer
- Must have experience in maintenance of EHV, HV and LV equipment in substations.
- Responsible for execution of whole works at site.
- Fully aware of safety procedures during maintenance.
- Must have experience of substation maintenance up to 400KV.
- Good knowledge of maintenance of SF6 GIS, Power transformers, Batteries etc.
Testing & Commissioning Engineer
- Requires hands on experience in Testing & pre-commissioning works in elevated substation & primary substations.
- Good communication, problem solving and coordination skills.
- Sound knowledge in testing of CTs, PTs, meters, Transducers, Power Transformers, Circuit breakers and associated equipment.
- Capable of testing numerical protection relays.
- Familiar in schemes and capable of performing commissioning tests like Primary injection tests, Stability tests and HV tests etc.
All candidates must have:
- Minimum 6 to 10 years experience in relevant field.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Age maximum 40 years.
