Key Responsibilities
- Plan and monitor daily schedules to meet production targets for plain or X‑ray detectable gauze swabs.
- Analyze workflows in cutting, folding, packing, and sterilization to reduce waste and improve machine productivity.
- Schedule preventative maintenance and troubleshoot high‑speed machinery (e.g., air‑jet looms, automatic folding machines) to minimize downtime.
- Ensure products meet sterility and material standards (e.g., absorbency, biocompatibility).
- Maintain accurate Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and validation documents.
- Implement safety protocols to protect workers and maintain a clean‑room environment suitable for medical device production.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Biomedical specialization preferred).
- Minimum 2–7 years of maintenance experience in the Oil & Gas / Petrochemical industry.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 standards (Bureau Veritas certified organization).
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a team.
