Job Opportunity: PLANT QA/QC Inspector for Qatar Projects
Al Samit International, on behalf of M/S. DNV, is urgently seeking qualified PLANT QA/QC personnel for long-term assignments on their projects in Qatar. This is an immediate requirement for professionals with extensive experience in the Oil & Gas sector.

Job Title
PLANT QA/QC Inspector
Key Qualifications
- Educational Background: Degree or Diploma in Mechanical/Metallurgical Engineering.
- Certifications (Mandatory):
- CSWIP 3.2.2 (Senior Welding Inspector) or AWS-SCWI certification.
- NDT Level-II (PT, MT, UT, RT) as per SNT-TC-1A or equivalent.
- Certifications (Preferred): BGAS-CSWIP Painting Inspector or NACE Level 1-2.
Experience Requirements
- Age Range: 30 – 55 years.
- Total Experience: 8 years (for Degree holders) or 12 years (for Diploma holders).
- Relevant Experience: Minimum 5 years specifically as a QA/QC Inspector within the Oil & Gas industry or with an Operating Company.
- Technical Expertise: Must have proven expertise in:
- Pressure Vessels, Piping, Steel Structures & Valves.
- International codes, welding standards, and inspection procedures.
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings (P&ID, Isometric, Specifications).
- NDT methods and weld interpretation.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication and reporting skills. Proficiency in MS Office is required.
