Job Overview
The Vulcanizer Technician will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of conveyor belts critical to cement plant operations. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience in vulcanizing both textile rubber belts and steel cord belts, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal plant efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform hot and cold joint vulcanizing on textile rubber and steel cord conveyor belts.
- Conduct routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs of belt systems within the cement plant.
- Troubleshoot belt-related issues and implement effective solutions promptly.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and quality standards during repair operations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and spare parts inventory.
- Coordinate with the maintenance team to schedule repairs and minimize production disruption.
Eligibility Criteria & Requirements
- Age: 35 to 42 years.
- Educational Qualification: ITI (Industrial Training Institute) certification or a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience working as a Vulcanizer Technician, specifically within the cement industry.
- Technical Skills: Proven expertise in performing both hot and cold joint vulcanizing techniques on textile rubber belts and steel cord belts.
- Strong understanding of conveyor belt systems and associated machinery.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a challenging industrial environment.
