Key Job Responsibilities
- Operate, inspect, repair, and maintain comprehensive firefighting systems and equipment
- Specialize in mechanical pump operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Service and maintain fire pumps, hydrants, sprinkler systems, and hose reels
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on fire safety equipment
- Ensure all firefighting systems comply with safety standards and regulations
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests and system malfunctions
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities
Mandatory Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience as a Firefighting Technician
- Strong expertise in mechanical pump operations and maintenance (preferred)
- Comprehensive knowledge of firefighting systems including pumps, hydrants, sprinklers, and hose reels
- Ability to diagnose and repair technical issues in fire safety equipment
- Relevant technical certifications in fire safety or related fields
