Educational Qualification & Experience Requirements
- Qualification: Diploma or ITI in Civil Engineering, Material Testing, or a related field.
- Experience: 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in a concrete, Ready-Mix Concrete (RMC), or construction materials laboratory is mandatory.
Job Profile & Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and consistency of construction materials. Key duties include:
- Conducting routine tests on cement, aggregates, and both fresh and hardened concrete.
- Monitoring batching processes and mix designs to maintain strict quality standards.
- Calibrating, maintaining, and ensuring the proper functioning of all laboratory equipment.
- Preparing detailed and accurate test reports, and coordinating effectively with QA/QC and production teams.
- Possessing in-depth knowledge of concrete testing standards, including slump tests, cube compressive strength tests, and sieve analysis.
