Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor safety procedures on the KOC pipeline construction site.
- Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments.
- Ensure compliance with local and international safety standards (KOC standards, OSHA).
- Investigate incidents and near-misses, and prepare detailed reports.
- Conduct safety inductions and toolbox talks for workers and staff.
- Monitor environmental management systems on site.
- Liaise with project management and client safety representatives.
Mandatory Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in Oil and Gas pipeline or construction projects.
- Education: Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) or Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, or related) from a recognized university.
Required Certifications (Any of the following):
- NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) or equivalent.
- IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent.
- ASSE Certificate in Global Safety Management.
- Certifications in General Industrial Safety, Construction Safety, and Environmental Management Systems.
