Estimation & Proposal Engineer – UAE Long Term Position
Bright International, with over 40 years of expertise in manpower solutions, is seeking a highly skilled Estimation & Proposal Engineer for a long-term assignment in the UAE. This role is ideal for mechanical engineers with extensive experience in the Oil & Gas and EPC sectors.
Job Overview
We are looking for a B.E. Mechanical graduate with 8-10 years of hands-on experience in estimation and proposal development within the Oil & Gas and EPC industries. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and proposals for projects involving mechanical (static and rotating equipment), piping, and structural components.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed cost estimates and proposals for Oil & Gas and EPC projects
- Perform estimation for mechanical systems including static and rotating equipment
- Handle piping and structural estimation requirements
- Ensure compliance with ASME standards and specifications
- Utilize engineering software such as PV Elite and TEMA for calculations and designs
- Collaborate with project teams to prepare competitive bid proposals
- Review project specifications and technical requirements
- Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors for cost data
Qualifications and Experience
- B.E. in Mechanical Engineering
- 8-10 years of relevant experience in estimation and proposals
- Strong background in Oil & Gas / EPC sectors
- Expertise in mechanical (static & rotating), piping, and structural estimation
- Thorough knowledge of ASME standards
- Proficiency with PV Elite, TEMA, and other relevant software
- Excellent analytical and technical skills
- Strong communication and proposal writing abilities
