About the Opportunity
Our client, a premier steel products manufacturer in Oman with a legacy spanning decades, is expanding its operations to the UAE. We are urgently seeking skilled and experienced professionals for various Section Mill Production (Beam & Rail) roles to join their dynamic team.
Available Positions
1. Tandem Mill-Stand & Guide Fitter (JRE/32806/2025)
- Qualifications: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience: Minimum 5-10 years in a Section Mill Steel Plant
- Responsibilities: Responsible for all aspects of the roll build procedure, conducting final checks prior to rolls entering the mill.
2. BD Mill-Stand Technician (JRE/32805/2025)
- Qualifications: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience: Minimum 5-10 years in a Section Mill Steel Plant
- Responsibilities: Manage roll build operations to ensure optimum plant performance and product quality.
3. BD Pulpit Operator (JRE/32803/2025)
- Qualifications: ITI in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation
- Experience: Minimum 5-10 years in a Section Mill Steel Plant
- Responsibilities: Monitor mill operations, provide dimension measurements, minimize production delays, operate hot saws, change blades, and assist with descaling.
4. Tandem Mill Operator (Technician) (JRE/32804/2025)
- Qualifications: Diploma/ITI/Technical certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Metallurgy (preferred)
- Experience: Minimum 5-10 years in Tandem Mill operations in a Section Mill Steel Plant
- Responsibilities: Manage roll stand build, conduct final checks on rolls and guides, inspect and repair guides, order spares, and test water spray systems.
5. Sliding / BD Pulpit Operator (JRE/32802/2025)
- Qualifications: Diploma/ITI/Technical certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Metallurgy (preferred)
- Experience: Minimum 5-10 years in a Section Mill Steel Plant
- Responsibilities: Operate BD Pulpit, download rolling schedules, coordinate with other operators, monitor rolling processes, and ensure machine efficiency.
General Requirements
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of rolling mill operations.
- Good written and spoken English communication skills.
- Ability to monitor gauges and indicators for proper machine functioning.
