Job Overview
The Work Permit Receiver plays a critical role in ensuring all site work is authorized and complies with stringent health, safety, and environmental (HSE) protocols. The ideal candidate will be responsible for receiving, reviewing, and managing work permits, coordinating with various departments, and ensuring all activities adhere to project and client-specific safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, review, and process work permit applications for construction, MEP, and industrial project activities.
- Ensure all permits comply with site-specific safety rules, HSE procedures, and client requirements (including Saudi Aramco standards, if applicable).
- Coordinate between project managers, contractors, and safety officers to facilitate permit issuance.
- Maintain accurate records of all work permits, inspections, and approvals.
- Conduct pre-job safety meetings and briefings as required.
- Monitor site conditions to ensure ongoing work aligns with permit stipulations.
- Act as a point of contact for all work permit-related queries and issues.
Eligibility Criteria & Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a Work Permit Receiver or in a similar role within construction, MEP, or industrial projects.
- Education: A Diploma in Civil Engineering or MEP Engineering is required.
- Preferred: Candidates with prior experience working on Saudi Aramco projects will be given preference.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of work permit systems, site safety management, and HSE regulations.
- Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and coordination skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure in fast-paced site environments.
