Jerry Varghese is conducting immediate shortlisting for multiple long-term job opportunities in Qatar for a leading Oil & Gas Pipeline Construction Company. Our client is urgently seeking qualified professionals for their ongoing major projects.
Job Position: WELDER (FCAW) | JRE Code: JRE/33105/2025
Key Requirements & Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
- Must possess 6GR certification for FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) process.
- Proven expertise working with Carbon steel pipe ASME A106 Gr.B material.
- Hands-on experience with specified pipe sizes: 6″x Sch.80, 6″ Sch 160, 8″ Sch 60, and 8″ Sch 100.
- Technical proficiency in Root Pass with E70S-6 (STT Process) and Fill & Cap by FCAW Process.
- Familiarity with E71T-1C (Hyundai Supercored 71) Filler, Size 1.2.
- Test position is 6GR, with both ends closed during Root Pass welding.
Note: Preference will be given to Gulf-return candidates with relevant experience.
