Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled PDH Senior Operator with extensive experience in petrochemical plant operations. This critical role requires expertise in Propane-Dehydrogenation (PDH) and Cracker Plants, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable plant operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate plant control systems from control room or local stations
- Make routine adjustments to operating conditions based on plant requirements
- Monitor and log key operating parameters including temperatures, pressures, and flow rates
- Understand the reasons for operational changes and know how and when to implement them
- Report any abnormalities or issues to shift supervisor promptly
- Troubleshoot problems occurring during normal plant operations
- Identify problems, determine their source, and implement effective solutions
- Ensure compliance with Environment, Health and Safety standards
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering discipline (Chemical or Industrial Engineering preferred)
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of work experience in Environment, Health and Safety in Petrochemical Plants
- Preferred experience in Propane-Dehydrogenation (PDH) and Cracker Plants
- Strong background in plant control system operations
