Our client, a leading Steel Company in Saudi Arabia, specializes in engineering services including welding, fabrication, retubing, and heat exchanger services. We are urgently seeking a skilled Structural Fabricator to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on exciting projects in a dynamic environment.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in welding or fabrication preferred.
- Minimum 2-3 years of relevant work experience as a structural fabricator or similar role.
- Ability to read and interpret structural drawings and blueprints.
- Proficiency in MIG, TIG, or Arc welding techniques.
- Strong knowledge of steel grades, fabrication standards, and tolerances.
- Good physical strength and stamina for handling heavy materials.
- Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
- Understanding of workplace safety requirements and use of PPE.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret fabrication drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
- Measure, cut, bend, and weld steel components to required dimensions.
- Perform layout, fit-up, and assembly of structural steel members.
- Operate fabrication equipment such as cutting machines, grinders, and welding machines.
- Ensure all fabricated items meet quality standards and project requirements.
- Conduct visual inspections and assist with non-destructive testing (NDT) processes if needed.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work area in a clean and safe condition.
- Collaborate with supervisors, welders, and team members to meet project deadlines.
