Key Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Material Inspection and Material Preservation
- Experience must be within the oil & gas or petrochemical industry
- Strong knowledge of material specifications, testing procedures, and preservation standards
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, drawings, and data sheets
- Familiarity with relevant industry codes and standards
- Excellent attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
- Willingness to relocate to Oman for project duration
Responsibilities Include
- Conducting thorough inspections of materials at various project stages
- Ensuring all materials meet project specifications and quality standards
- Implementing and monitoring material preservation programs
- Documenting inspection results and maintaining accurate records
- Collaborating with project teams, suppliers, and contractors
- Identifying non-conformities and recommending corrective actions
- Ensuring compliance with DNV quality management systems
