HBK Contracting Company is currently seeking experienced Safety Officers for a long-term project in Qatar. This is an excellent opportunity for qualified professionals to advance their careers in the Oil & Gas sector with a reputable contracting company.
Job Position: Safety Officer – NEBOSH IGC LEVEL 3
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and monitor health and safety policies and procedures on site
- Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments
- Ensure compliance with local and international safety regulations
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses
- Conduct safety training and awareness programs for staff
- Maintain safety documentation and records
- Monitor hazardous activities and ensure proper controls are in place
- Liaise with project management on safety matters
Mandatory Requirements:
- NEBOSH IGC Level 3 certification is essential
- 7-10 years of proven experience in the Oil & Gas industry
- Previous Gulf region experience is highly preferred
- Ability to join immediately
- Strong knowledge of international safety standards and practices
- Excellent communication and reporting skills
