Educational & Experience Requirements
Mandatory Qualification:
• Associate’s Degree / Technical School Diploma in Science Field (Chemical, Mechanical, or related discipline)
Required Experience:
• 4-6 Years hands-on experience specifically in:
• Petroleum processing plants
• Petrochemical manufacturing facilities
• Sodium Methoxide (SMO) production plants (preferred)
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Operate and monitor Sodium Methoxide (SMO) production plant equipment safely and efficiently
- Follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions precisely
- Conduct regular equipment checks and preventive maintenance activities
- Monitor process parameters and record operational readings accurately in logs
- Identify and report any abnormalities, deviations, or safety concerns to supervisors immediately
- Maintain strict adherence to all safety protocols and environmental regulations
- Participate in plant shutdowns, startups, and turnaround activities
- Collaborate with maintenance and technical teams for troubleshooting
- Ensure product quality meets established specifications
- Maintain excellent housekeeping standards in the work area
Required Competencies & Skills
- Strong understanding of chemical process operations and safety standards
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, and operational manuals
- Experience with process control systems and basic instrumentation
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
- Good communication skills for effective team coordination
- Physical ability to work in plant environment and handle shift duties
- Problem-solving mindset with commitment to continuous improvement
