Job Overview
As a Heavy Trailer Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods across various locations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. You will operate heavy trailers, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws, company safety protocols, and delivery schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate and maneuver heavy trailers for long and short hauls.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical soundness.
- Adhere to all KSA traffic regulations and transportation laws.
- Plan routes efficiently and ensure on-time delivery of cargo.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
- Secure cargo properly using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Report any accidents, incidents, or vehicle issues to the transport manager immediately.
- Maintain the vehicle in a clean and orderly condition.
Mandatory Requirements & Eligibility Criteria
- Driving License: Must possess a valid OR expired Saudi Arabian driving license for heavy trailers. Candidates with only international licenses will not be considered.
- Age Limit: Applicants must be below 40 years of age.
- Experience: Proven experience as a Heavy Trailer/Truck Driver is highly preferred.
- Knowledge: Thorough understanding of KSA road networks, traffic laws, and vehicle maintenance basics.
- Physical Fitness: Must be in good physical health to handle long driving hours and cargo securing tasks.
- Discipline: Punctual, responsible, and with a strong safety record.
