Job Overview
We are urgently seeking a highly experienced Fermentation Process Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing engineering expertise for fermentation and downstream processing systems, contributing to design, commissioning, and optimization in a state-of-the-art protein manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide process engineering expertise for fermentation and downstream processing systems.
- Participate in process design reviews, PFDs, and P&IDs related to the U-LoopⓇ bioreactor.
- Assist in commissioning, performance testing, and optimization of the fermentation unit.
- Collaborate with the project, operations, and R&D teams to ensure compliance with technical and safety standards.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and energy efficiency.
- Support documentation and reporting activities throughout project execution.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Bioprocess Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in process engineering within fermentation, biotechnology, or biochemical industries.
- Proven experience with gas fermentation, microbial systems, or similar industrial-scale bio processes.
- Strong understanding of process design, mass and energy balances, and scale-up principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
