Electrical Engineer Position at HamdanGlobal for Logistics City Project
HamdanGlobal is seeking a qualified Electrical Engineer for a major Logistics City Project in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). This is a key role involving the design, supervision, and management of all electrical systems for warehouses, residential buildings, and supporting facilities.
Job Role & Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Designing, reviewing, and managing all electrical works for the Logistics City project.
- Ensuring full compliance with approved standards, electrical codes (IEC, NEC, SBC), and authority requirements.
- Preparing electrical designs for Low Voltage (LV) and Medium Voltage (MV) distribution systems.
- Designing internal and external lighting systems using specialized software like Dialux.
- Conducting electrical load calculations and preparing power demand schedules.
- Supervising on-site electrical works to ensure alignment with approved drawings and specifications.
- Coordinating with Architectural, Civil, and Mechanical engineering disciplines.
- Reviewing and approving shop drawings, electrical layouts, and technical submittals.
- Liaising with electricity authorities and service providers for design approvals and connections.
- Approving electrical materials, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Participating in the testing, commissioning, and final handover of electrical systems.
- Preparing technical reports and progress updates for project management.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in logistics cities, industrial, or large-scale warehouse projects.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of warehouse electrical systems, high-load facilities, and low current systems (Fire Alarm, CCTV, Data, Access Control).
- Nationality: Any Arab nationality. Arab candidates currently outside KSA with previous KSA project experience will also be considered.
Required Software Skills
- AutoCAD
- Revit MEP
- Dialux / Dialux EVO
- ETAP or equivalent (Preferred)
