About the Role
As a Business Development Manager, you will be at the forefront of our expansion strategy in Dubai and the wider UAE region. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client partnerships, and driving revenue growth for our comprehensive suite of structural engineering services. This role is ideal for a seasoned sales professional with deep technical knowledge of structural engineering who thrives on building client relationships and closing high-value contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic business development plan to achieve sales targets for structural engineering services.
- Identify, prospect, and secure new clients in key market segments including construction, real estate development, infrastructure, and industrial projects.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers, architects, contractors, and developers.
- Lead the entire sales cycle from initial lead generation to negotiation and contract closure.
- Prepare and present compelling proposals, presentations, and technical solutions tailored to client needs.
- Collaborate closely with our technical and engineering teams to ensure proposed solutions are feasible and aligned with client objectives.
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline and provide accurate forecasting using our CRM system.
- Represent U.N. International at industry events, conferences, and networking forums.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and identify new service opportunities.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Minimum 5+ years of proven experience in sales/business development specifically within structural engineering services.
- A strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets, with demonstrable high-conversion rates.
- Excellent understanding of structural engineering principles, services, and the construction project lifecycle.
- Exceptional client relationship management and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently.
- Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Existing network of contacts within the Dubai/UAE construction and engineering industry is a significant advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
