Auto Electrician Position for Heavy Equipment (Truck/Trailer)
Job Overview
A leading dairy company in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is seeking skilled Auto Electricians specializing in heavy equipment maintenance for their fleet operations. This position offers an excellent opportunity for qualified professionals to join a reputable organization in the dairy industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnosing and repairing electrical systems of trucks and heavy vehicles, including wiring, lighting, batteries, alternators, and electronic control units (ECUs)
- Using diagnostic tools to identify and resolve electrical system issues
- Repairing or replacing defective wiring, connectors, relays, fuses, and other electrical components
- Installing, testing, and maintaining electrical components such as GPS tracking systems, sensors, and auxiliary lighting
- Ensuring proper installation and functionality of ignition systems, fuel injection systems, and braking control systems
- Performing routine maintenance on electrical systems to prevent malfunctions and breakdowns
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide electrical support on vehicle modifications and upgrades
- Mentoring junior electricians and guiding best practices and technical knowledge
- Maintaining detailed records of work performed, parts used, and time spent on each job for reporting and compliance purposes
Qualifications Required
- Proven experience as an Auto Electrician specializing in heavy equipment/trucks/trailers
- Strong knowledge of vehicle electrical systems and components
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment
- Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and schematics
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
