Al Samit International, on behalf of Qatar Engineering and Construction Company (Qcon), is hiring experienced shutdown personnel for mega shutdown projects in Qatar. This is a free recruitment drive, and only Gulf-return candidates are eligible to apply.
Client Interview
A client interview is scheduled on 10th September at Anuptec Rabale – R 84. Eligible candidates should attend the interview in person with an updated CV, passport copies, experience letters and relevant certificates.
Job Location

Salary Details
Monthly salary will be fixed based on the role, experience and Gulf shutdown background. The advertised monthly salary range for selected positions is given below as a guideline:
- Shutdown Manager: QAR 20,000 – 28,000
- Superintendent (Equipment – Static): QAR 9,000 – 11,000
- Superintendent (Fabrication): QAR 8,000 – 10,000
- Area Coordinator: QAR 8,000 – 10,000
- Training Coordinator: QAR 7,000 – 10,000
- Supervisor (Mechanical): QAR 6,000 – 7,000
- Supervisor (Scaffolding): QAR 12,000 – 18,000
- Supervisor (Rigging): QAR 12,000 – 16,000
- Supervisor (Store): QAR 2,200 – 2,500
- Supervisor (Valve): QAR 2,500 – 2,800
- Coordinator (Transport): QAR 2,500
Other published salary slabs for various trades include QAR 2,300 – 2,800, QAR 3,000 – 3,500, QAR 5,000 – 6,500, QAR 6,000 – 7,000 and QAR 9,000 – 11,000 depending on the position. Final salary will be confirmed during the client interview.
Eligibility Criteria
- Only Gulf-return candidates will be considered.
- Previous shutdown/turnaround project experience in oil and gas, refinery, petrochemical or power plants is preferred.
- Candidates must have a valid passport and should be ready for early mobilization.
- Qualification and experience certificates are mandatory for the interview.
