Manufacturing jobs in Oman are now available at a well-established facility in Sohar, Sultanate of Oman. We are currently looking for the following positions:
- Injection Moulding Supervisor
- General Manager – Manufacturing Facility
1. Injection Moulding Supervisor
Key Responsibilities
- Organise and coordinate daily production activities and shift operators.
- Ensure production plans and output targets are achieved.
- Supervise the start-up and correct operation of injection moulding machines.
- Monitor process parameters, cycle times, scrap rates, machine downtime and overall production efficiency.
- Identify and resolve process issues in coordination with the maintenance team.
- Verify product quality and proper utilisation of raw materials.
- Prepare daily production reports and production summaries.
- Monitor production output, working hours, equipment efficiency and key production KPIs.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Proven experience in plastic injection moulding.
- Strong technical knowledge of injection moulding machines and processes.
- Ability to set and adjust machine parameters and troubleshoot process issues.
- Understanding of industrial production processes and production planning.
2. General Manager – Manufacturing Facility
Key Responsibilities
- Overall management of the company and manufacturing facility.
- Provide managerial oversight of production, maintenance, quality, logistics, administration and human resources.
- Lead the start-up and progressive growth of manufacturing operations.
- Translate the strategic direction of the shareholders and Italian headquarters into operational plans.
- Establish departmental objectives, priorities and responsibilities and monitor performance.
- Ensure achievement of production, quality, safety, efficiency and customer-service targets.
- Prepare and manage budgets, financial forecasts and development plans.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Significant senior-management or general-management experience within an industrial/manufacturing company.
- Proven ability to manage multiple business functions and complex organisations.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing, financial and organisational processes.
- Experience managing budgets, costs, profitability and performance indicators.
