Joncia Marine Services is hiring a passionate and certified Fitness Instructor for a luxury cruise line. This is a unique opportunity to inspire guests, promote wellness, and make every day at sea extraordinary.
Since 1991, Joncia Marine Services has been connecting Indian maritime and hospitality professionals with premium international cruise ship careers. We are currently looking for an experienced fitness professional to join an elite wellness team on board a luxury cruise ship.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct group fitness classes including Yoga, Pilates, Kick Boxing, Aerobics, Spinning, TRX, MMA and sport stretching massage.
- Provide personal training sessions and lifestyle consultations to guests.
- Operate and maintain gym equipment safely.
- Interpret body composition reports and help guests set realistic fitness goals.
- Deliver an inspiring, safe and engaging fitness experience for guests of all levels.
Qualifications and Experience
- Holder of CPR/Red Cross and a recognized Fitness Instructor Certificate such as NASM.
- Extensive experience in Yoga and Pilates, Kick Boxing, Aerobics, Spinning, TRX, MMA, sport stretching massage and able to conduct group classes.
- Knowledge of gym equipment and body composition report interpretation.
- Able to conduct personal training and lifestyle consultation to guests.
- A minimum of 1 year work experience in a gym.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills. Cantonese/Mandarin is an advantage.
