Seagull International LLP, an approved overseas recruitment consultant, is hiring experienced Heavy Duty Drivers and Equipment Controllers for a leading contracting company in Oman.
Available Positions
- Heavy Duty Driver – 50 Nos.
- Equipment Controller – 10 Nos.
Heavy Duty Driver – Job Details
Duties:
- Drive trailer FBT, trailer LBT, tanker, HIAB truck, dumper, tipper 45CBM and ready-mix vehicles.
- Follow project site safety rules and PDO/OXY/OQ driving regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Ensure safe loading and unloading of materials.
- Report vehicle defects and maintenance needs immediately.
Requirements:
- Must have valid OPAL Defensive Driving approved certification.
- Should be able to drive trailer FBT, trailer LBT, tanker, HIAB truck, dumper, tipper 45CBM, and readymix.
- Valid Oman or any GCC license will be considered.
- Oil & gas project experience preferred.
Equipment Controller – Job Details
Duties:
- Operate JCB, roller and tool carrier equipment.
- Control lifting operations with valid OPAL approved certificate.
- Follow approved lift plans and project HSE procedures.
- Inspect equipment before use and ensure proper maintenance.
- Coordinate with site supervisors and rigging teams.
Requirements:
- Must have valid OPAL Lifting approved certificate.
- Must have competent card (RTITB card) for the relevant equipment category.
- Experience in operating JCB, roller, and tool carrier equipment.
- Valid Oman or any GCC license will be considered.
